Emergency Assistance
People, because of loss or change in employment, may have short term needs. There may be unexpected circumstances that create a need for assistance with food, shelter, clothing, utilities, etc.

NESDCAP also provides support through the National Relief Charities, formally the American Indian Relief Council. NESDCAP has partnered with National Relief Charities to promote a strong sense of value in our local community members. With the economy not being as stable as it was in the past, our communities need more options on how to save money. With the NRC items we receive, it will help supplement your income and free up more money in your wallets for necessities for the home such as food, electricity, water, and heat. NRC provides NESDCAP with toiletry items which may include, but is not limited to, the following items:
           Toilet Paper
            Shampoo
            Conditioner
            Body wash/soap
            Laundry soap/dryer sheets
            Baby hygiene products
            Diapers
            Cleaning supplies
            Bottled Water

How do I receive Emergency Assistance? These items and other services are available at NO cost to the client. To qualify you will need to go through a monthly budget with one of NESDCAP’S qualified staff. This process takes about 30 minutes. The toiletry items can be received once or twice a month.

NESDCAP is here to assist you with your needs.  Please call 1-888-202-4855 Ext 10 to request services.  Assistance may vary throughout our 17 county service area.
